Sprenger Max Control Full Cheek With Lock Up

Sprenger Max Control Full Cheek or Fulmer snaffle with lock up is a double jointed bit which has the ability to lock at a certain point as the rein pressure becomes stronger.

It is designed to be a correction or training bit which locks at a certain angle and thus becomes a straight bar.
The bit sits comfortably in the mouth when the horse is working properly. When the horse opposes the riders hand the more intensive rigid effect occurs and pressure is transferred directly onto the tongue. If the horse complies the pressure is immediately relieved rewarding the horse and so the horse quickly associates compliance with comfort.
