This dressage legal snaffle is not severe, so if you are a pleasure rider and simply wish to lift the forehand by assisting the horse sit up more then this bit is a logical choice allowing the application of more leg to ride into your hand due to greater acceptance in the mouth. As a result there is greater clarification and directional emphasis through through the rein. Promoting self carriage and through-ness, a true outline and freedom through the shoulder can be developed. The Verbindend has consistently helped eradicate tongue evasions, encouraging the horse to soften and relax through the jaw. The curved mouthpiece design can also enhance the development of the bend for lateral work and smaller circles.
