The Neue Schule Slimma Weymouth mouthpiece provides for a level of lifting action without upper palate interference. A very minimalistic design that sits well back in the mouth over the thicker, less sensitive part of the tongue. The Slimma mouthpiece incorporates a wide low tongue bridge designed to eliminate any chance of upper palate interference whilst leaving much more space for the bridoon hence a thicker bridoon is an option for a horse that is hesitant in tasking the contact. The 7cm shanks offer a greater level of leverage often needed by smaller riders on bigger, strong horses that can sometimes take advantage of a rider with a lesser degree of hand strength.
- Neue Schule bits are made with Neue Schule Salox® Gold which is a high copper alloy used for its high thermal conductivity and anti-tarnishing properties; Salox® Gold quickly reaches body temperature and so encourages relaxation and acceptance of the bit.
- Gives a good lifting action without upper palate interference.
- A very popular unobtrusive and mild design that takes up little room in the mouth.
- Often used in conjunction with the Tranz Angled Lozenge bridoon.
- Dressage Legal
- Shank Size: 7cm
- Mouthpiece Thickness: 14mm
