Heavy S.S. Double Link Curb Chain

The heavy stainless steel double link curb chain is designed to double lap over each link so that each chain link is nested in beneath the one before providing for a much more comfortable chain link surface when it is wound into a flat chain profile. The chain is designed to act on the horses jawline usually with a rubber or leather chain guard bringing pressure when the rider needs a little more stopping power.

This is done by holding at one end and gently rotating the other end so that all of the links lie flat and then it is ready to attach to the chain fixtures on the pelham bit.
