The Waterford Barrell bit is an excellent alternative to the traditional Waterford Bit and has smooth barrel links as opposed to the bobbles.

We think this is especially useful for horses that are being asked to maintain a contact during jumping conditions especially in the final stages of fence approach.

It offers the benefits of a Traditional Waterford applying even tongue and bar pressure as the mouth piece curves around the tongue but the barrels offer an even lighter approach than the bobble/ball version.

Bombers recommend that when ordering this bit, to go up 5-10mm on your usual bit size.
