Bombers Bits Lock Up Full Cheek Bit

The Lock-Up Full Cheek removes the nutcracker action of the conventional snaffle, and as a result, will bear less pressure on each side of the horse’s jaw called the bars.

The Fulmer, or commonly known as the Full Cheek cheek piece, will have the same effect as the traditional Eggbutt in so much as, it will stop pinching on the sides of the mouth, however, the elongated pins above and below the bit, firstly prevent the bit being pulled through the mouth and secondly have the effect of guiding the horses head which is great for schooling and training objectives.

Additionally, all bomber bits are made from blue sweet iron, because it:

• Oxidises easily.
• Stimulates salivation.
• Helps bit acceptance.
• Is warm and sweet.

Please note the blue will fade with use.
